Calibration gas blends for petrochemicals and refinery

Multi-component standards for process analyzers and laboratory instruments.

Overview

Order every standard you need from one source. Blends are prepared by gravimetry and verified against traceable references, following ISO 6142 for preparation and ISO 6143 for analysis. Concentrations range from percent levels down to ppb.

  • Gravimetric preparation
  • Analytical verification
  • Certificate of analysis with every certified blend

Actual fill pressure is lower than maximum working pressure. CGA, BS and DIN valves available.

Refinery lab standards

Refinery gas analyzer (RGA) blends

Hydrogen, carbon monoxide and dioxide, C1–C6 paraffins and olefins, balance nitrogen. Any feasible combination on request.

Sulfur species

Hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide, carbon disulfide, mercaptans, dimethyl sulfide and THT, from 0.2 to 200 ppm in nitrogen, helium or methane.

LPG standards

Ethane to pentanes, including other C4s and C5s, for GC calibration.

Methanizer standards

CO, CO₂ and methane at ppm levels in hydrogen.

Natural gas standards

We design the blend around your source composition and report calorific value, relative density and Wobbe index with the certificate. Fill pressure is optimised for maximum gas volume.

Petrochemical and polymer plant standards

  • C1–C5+ hydrocarbon gas and liquid blends
  • Impurity profiles in 1,3-butadiene and 1-butene
  • BTEX and other aromatics, mol/mol, vol/vol or wt/wt
  • Sulfur in hydrocarbons, in piston-type sampling cylinders
